Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Amber moved here recently to explore and investigate a new city and for better job opportunities. She’s an aspiring screenplay writer currently trying to sell the first script she co-wrote with a friend. The screenplay is a slapstick satire about our celebrity-obsessed, voyeuristic, financially and morally-bankrupt culture with lots of toilet humor and poop jokes. She started out as a poet eventually taking a stab at non-fiction and short stories. Amber completed a novel in 2006, Sibylline, which is still a work-in-progress. She graduated from Arizona State University in December 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature. She enjoys punk music, existential literature, and likes to collage in her spare time.
